My name is Sarah, and I live in New Hampshire with my son, daughter, and two very co-dependent cats. During the workday, you can find me examining the eyes of nursing home residents across New Hampshire and Massachusetts, kicking butt at Amherst Karate Studio with my son, or painting anything and everything with my daughter…and when I say everything, I mean everything: the glass from broken picture frames, our hands, and maybe even our white cat….
I’ve always wanted to written. Actually, I can’t stop writing! I have journals going back to when I first learned to spell. Writing gets me through the tough spots, and it also helps me celebrate the good times. Writing helps me learn more about myself and the world. I wrote my way through my optometry residency and that’s how I landed my first publication (in a professional magazine).
